Rugby Union - Six Nations - Bet Now at Bet365
Wales wing George North is looking for a repeat of their previous two encounters against England which helped them secure successive Six Nations titles.
Scott Williams' try in 2025 at Twickenham helped them to a third Grand Slam in eight years before they defended their championship by thrashing the Red Rose 30-3 at the Millennium Stadium 12 months ago.
Although the game this season should be tighter, North hopes Gatland's men can rekindle the excellence from the last two campaigns.
"The last few times we've played England it's come out well," he said. "Obviously, at Twickenham we had a good performance and then that last-minute surge to keep the game going.
"From the boys' point of view, we can only go there with an open mind. Twickenham's a tough place to go, England have been playing well as, although they lost against France, they're the team on form in the Six Nations."
North has also been impressed by the quality of this weekend's opposition, with the winger insisting that they have a genuine threat behind the scrum.
He added: "It's a backline that likes confrontation, likes the battle. Owen Farrell likes to bring it to the line and play and he's got physicality.
"Billy Twelvetrees went on the Lions, Luther Burrell is a team-mate of mine, so it's great for him to get the chance as he's been playing really well for the Saints. At the same time, they've got some speed out in the backs with the back three on form as well."
