World number one Rafael Nadal is set to continue his Wimbledon defence, despite suffering a foot injury in his fourth round match.
Nadal was injured during the first set of his last 16 victory over Juan Martin Del Potro, but recovered well enough after treatment to win the match in four tough sets.
However, the Spaniard was concerned that he may have done some major damage to his left foot which would have threatened his participation in his quarter-final against American Mardy Fish.
A worried Nadal had said: "At one moment at the end of the first set I thought I might have to retire.
"I pushed hard with a forehand and I just felt something crush in the back of the foot. I didn't know what went on."
Nadal will take to the practice courts on Tuesday afternoon to test out his foot, but barring another setback he should be fit and able to continue in the tournament.
Nadal is1.14to see off Fish and reach the last four and3.75to retain his title, while Andy Murray is5.00to win a first Grand Slam at SW19.
Murray will face Nadal in the semi-finals if they both progress, with the British number one taking on another Spanish left-hander, Feliciano Lopez, in the last eight.
