Manchester United will definitely be without both Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Basel.
Sir Alex Ferguson could start with Dimitar Berbatov in attack after Rooney was ruled out for the second game in a row due to a hamstring injury, while Hernandez is continuing to recover from the dead leg he suffered in the early stages of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Stoke City.
Ferguson will have to decide whether to hand a start to Michael Owen, Danny Welbeck, Mame Biram Diouf or Federico Macheda at Old Trafford.
United are8.00 to beat Basel 1-0 and8.50 to edge to a2-1 victory, while Berbatov is5.00 to open the scoring and Owen 5.00.
"He's not playing tomorrow," confirmed Ferguson, when asked about Rooney. "It can be difficult to assess a hamstring injury. Obviously we hope we have him back quickly.
"He did a bit of jogging this morning but that's all. It's difficult to say. (Hernandez's injury) is straightforward, it's a dead leg he got on Saturday. He should be ready for next Saturday.
"Saturday was an accident, a complete accident."
Meanwhile, defensive duo Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling will also not featureagainst Basel because of groin and ankle problems respectively, while Nemanja Vidic "hasn't started training" since straining his calf.
