Andy Murray is two victories away from moving up to number two in the world rankings, having safely reached the semi-finals of the Miami Masters.
Second seed Murray defeated Marin Cilic 6-4 6-3 to reach the last four at the Sony Open, where he will face Richard Gasquet, who upset fourth seed Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-3.
Murray is now1.25to see off Gasquet and reach the final, while he is1.50to claim the title in Miami, with David Ferrer - who faces Tommy Haas in the other semi-final -4.50.
If Murray is crowned champion this week, he will move above Roger Federer in the world rankings, with only number one Novak Djokovic ahead ofhim.
However, the US Open champion is not focusing on the rankings, with Murray saying: "Winning matches is my goal and by doing that the rankings take care of themselves.
"I could add extra tournaments to try to get to number two, but I want to stick to the schedule I've got and hopefully move up the rankings if I can."
Meanwhile the women's final will see Maria Sharapova go head-to-head with Serena Williams, with the Russian aiming for her first title in Miami.
Sharapova,3.75to win the final, swept aside Jelena Jankovic for the loss of three games in the last four, while Williams,1.28to be crowned champion, defeated Agnieszka Radwanska 6-3 6-0.
