Arsene Wenger has a number of injury problems ahead of his Arsenal side's Premier League season opener at home to Aston Villa on Saturday.
Defensive duo Thomas Vermaelen and Nacho Monreal are both definite absentees due to back injuries, while midfielder Mikel Arteta is battling to overcome a thigh problem.
Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Bacary Sagna are all reported to have slight knocks after international duty, while Aaron Ramsey missed Wales' midweek friendlywith the Republic of Ireland due toan ankle injury.
Despite these problems the Gunners are1.40to defeat Villa at the Emirates Stadium,7.50to win by a 2-0 margin and2.20to keep a clean sheet.
Meanwhile, Wenger remains keen to try and bring in a new player or two before the transfer window slams shut in early January.
Having seen his latest target, Luis Gustavo, join Wolfsburg from Bayern Munich, the Frenchman told his club's official website: "We are in a situation like Manchester United, like Chelsea, where everybody expects signings and at the moment not a lot has happened.
"There are 18 days to go, so that is a long time in the transfer market and we will be active.
"I cannot certify what the number (of players signed will be), but we will be active until the end, that is for sure."
