Arsene Wenger insists there is more to come from his Arsenal team as they prepare for their latest Champions League clash against last season's beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund.
The Gunners moved two points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a scintillating 4-1 win over Norwich City on Saturday and have won their first two Champions League Group F encounters.
Arsenal have not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 2025 and Wenger said in the build-up to the Dortmund clash: "The feel-good factor is down to the quality of the spirit in the team, the solidarity of the players and their desire to do well.
"We are a team that looks to be successful and for that you need a special hunger and I believe that these players have it.
"For our confidence, it is good that we know we have room for improvement. I believe you can improve. What makes a top level team is that search for improvement and I believe that collectively, the way we win the ball back and the use of the ball offensively, we have room for improvement."
Arsenal will be without defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini and winger Theo Walcott for Tuesday's match as well as long-term injury victims Yaya Sanogo, Lukas Podolski, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby.
Dortmund have three points from their first two group games and are second in the Bundesliga table with 22 points from their opening nine clashes.
Wenger said of Tuesday's game: "It's not a decider but an important one. It's an 80 per cent game for the qualifying. If we win the game, we know that if we win the other home game we are there."
