Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has no doubts that Manchester City will win the Premier League title for the second time in three seasons.
Sherwood was speaking after seeing Spurs beaten 5-1 by the Citizens at White Hart Lane, with the north Londoners having suffered a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season.
The result on Wednesday evening took City to the top of the table and Sherwood believes that no-one will be able to overhaul Manuel Pellegrini's side.
He told reporters: "We've played the champions, without question in my opinion.
"Unfortunately for everyone they play, they don't just score one and shut up shop, they keep coming. If anyone is going to win the league you want a team like this to do it because they entertain.
"It's not great for an opposition manager, believe me, but they just put you to the sword. That's how football should be played in my opinion.
"They've got to win it now, they've won it before but Manchester United are the champions now. But I just think these guys are on a different level to anything in the league."
The Citizens have dropped just two points out of the last 36 in the league, but they face a tough test on Monday 3rd February when they play host to Chelsea, who are third in the table, three points behind the leaders.
