Tim Sherwood believes his Tottenham side is strong enough to clinch a top-four finish in the Premier League and win the Europa League this season.
Spurs were criticised for their lack-lustre display on Sunday when they were beaten 1-0 by Norwich City at Carrow Road, but they have the chance to bounce back when they face Dnipro in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 encounter.
Spurs trail 1-0 after losing last week's first leg in Ukraine but Sherwood is convinced his side can still qualify for the latter stages of the competition, which they are11.00to win outright.
He said: "You need the personality when you are playing at White Hart Lane because it's a big stage and it always has been.
"I remember that from when I was a player here. It's a very demanding crowd and rightly so, and you can either play for a big club or you can't. Some of them have to still prove that they have got that character to be able to play for Tottenham.
"We want to progress in the Europa League. We've not been blessed with a lot of trophies recently so it's an opportunity to progress and still fight for that top four. It is sapping but we would rather have the games and worry about picking up the points in the league afterwards."
Tottenham face Cardiff City at White Hart Lane on Sunday and are currently six points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool.
