Ryan Giggs has been given the responsibility of looking after the first team at Manchester United on an interim basis following the exit of David Moyes from Old Trafford.
Moyes wasshown the door after just over ten monthsin charge of the Red Devils, with United down in seventh place in the Premier League table, having lost 11 of their 34 league games this season.
And, with just four games to play this season, United have opted to hand Old Trafford legend Giggs - already player-coachat the club -the responsibility of overseeing the side for the home clashes with Norwich City, Sunderland and Hull City and the trip to Southampton.
United say they will make no further comment as they begin the search for a permanent replacement for Moyes, with Louis van Gaal, Diego Simeone and Jurgen Klopp all mentioned as possible targets.
However, Klopp has seemingly already ruled himself out by committing himself to seeing out his current contract with Borussia Dortmund, which runs until the summer of 2018.
The German told the Guardian: "Man Utd is a great club and I feel very familiar with their wonderful fans, but my commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people is not breakable."
With Moyes having made his exit, United welcome Norwich to Old Trafford on Saturday, with the Canaries desperate to try and avoid relegation from the top-flight.
