Luis Suarez says he is ignoring speculation about his club future as the Liverpool striker turns his attention towards Uruguay's World Cup campaign.
The 27-year-old has been tipped to be one of the stars of this summer's tournament in Brazil after an outstanding season in the Premier League, scoring 31 goals for the Reds and collecting the PFA and Football Writer's Players of the Year awards.
Suarez's excellent form for Liverpool has resulted in him being linked with a move away from Anfield, despite the former Ajax man signing a new four-year contract with the club last summer.
Suarez won't be drawn on speculation linking him with Real Madrid and has insisted that his focus is now on helping Uruguay better their semi-final appearance at the last World Cup in this year's tournament.
"I am already focused on the World Cup," he said. "I had a great season with Liverpool but other feelings don't matter now."
Suarez is eager to put the memories of Liverpool's Premier League title heartache to bed with a good showing at the World Cup.
However, the Liverpool ace acknowledges it will be hard for Uruguay to claim a third world title given the quality of the opposition in Brazil.
When asked who he fancied to win the World Cup, Suarez replied: "Argentina, because they have great players and they arrive in a good moment, but we can't ignore Uruguay, Spain, England or Germany, because a World Cup is a competition in which everyone wants to have success."
