Nathan Cleverly will fight Tony Bellew on Saturday night at the O2 Arena following the withdrawal of Juergen Braehmer on Wednesday.
Braehmer has been stripped of his WBO world light-heavyweight title after pulling out of the fight and Cleverly has been named as the new champion.
Commonwealth champion Bellew has won all 15 of his fights with 10 knockouts and is looking forward to taking Cleverly on for the WBO belt, believing he will leave him "out cold".
"I wouldn't have put myself forward if I didn't think I could beat him," said the Liverpudlian.
"Two months notice or two days notice, I know I can beat Cleverly - I always have. For the fans, I can promise them the best fight they will have seen in the last 10 years."
Cleverly, who was left devastated following Braehmer's no-show, is "really happy" to be facing Bellew.
"I knew we'd get it on one day and that day has come sooner than expected. I'm ready - he's going to get knocked out."
James DeGale and George Groves also fight on Saturday on the same card. DeGale can be backed at4/6to win by a knockout while Groves is at4/1in the same market.
