Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas was overjoyed to win the Europa League after beating Braga 1-0 in Dublin on Wednesday evening.
However, he was disappointed with the quality of the game, saying both sides "could have been better".
"Both teams found it hard, but that is nothing new in a final," said the 33-year-old after becoming the youngest manager to win a Uefa club competition, in his first season in charge of the Portuguese champions.
"Braga are always very aggressive and very compact, which makes our work very hard.
"But there is a great joy in winning the trophy."
Falcao netted just before half-time to seal the win for Porto and ended the competition as top scorer with 17 goals.
"I am very, very happy - I lived for a moment like this - but this is especially for the team," he said.
"Being the top-scorer is just an extra, what matters is the victory."
Attention now turns to the Champions League final on 28th January between Barcelona, led by former Porto coach Jose Mourinho, and Manchester United.
Barca can be backed at5/1to win 1-0, while a 2-0 victory for the Spanish champions is at15/2. Manchester United can be backed at12/1to win 2-1.
