The representative of Manchester City ace Carlos Tevez says that his client is close to agreeing a move back to Brazilian outfit Corinthians.
The 27-year-old Argentina striker, who is currently on international duty at the Copa America, is determined to try and leave the Citizens this summer, but now looks likely to head back to South America rather than remain in Europe.
Kia Joorabchian told ESPN Brasil: "Negotiations have already begun, Corinthians are in contact with us. His dream and mine is to see him back with Corinthians.
"He said he has a job that does not end there, he wants to return because he has the dream of winning the Copa Libertadores.
"Corinthians have made the offer, now it depends only on Manchester City. It is impossible to determine the situation, but I think it's close.
"The priority is Corinthians, but we have other options."
Tevez helped the Citizens to FA Cup success and third place in the Premier League last season, but has so far failed to impress at the Copa America in his homeland.
He was left out of the side who beat Costa Rica 3-0 to clinch a quarter-final spot and Argentina are6/5to go on and win the competition, with Brazil11/4and Uruguay10/1.
