A superb comeback by Manchester United ended with them clinching a last-gasp 3-2 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The Premier League champions were 2-0 behind after 45 minutes, but stormed back to win the game in injury time as Nani raced clear, rounded Joe Hart and slid the ball into the empty net.
City hit the front seven minutes before the break when Joleon Lescott headed home an inswinging free-kick from the right from David Silva.
Right on the stroke of half-time Edin Dzeko picked up the ball 40 yards out and flashed a low, right-foot shot past debutant United keeper, David De Gea, who was slow to get down to the powerful strike.
Seven minutes into the second half United pulled a goal back as Chris Smalling netted from Ashley Young's free-kick and that sparked a complete turnaround in the game.
Six minutes later it was 2-2 as a superb United attack involving Wayne Rooney and Tom Cleverley ended with Nani chipping over the ball over the advancing Hart.
Penalties were beckoning when Nani struck the decisive blow running on to a long ball forward, beating the weak challenge of last man Vincent Kompany and drawing Hart to send the Red Devils fans into raptures.
