Twits all over for Arsenal

Fabregas and Nasri have been left out of the Arsenal squad to play Newcastle on Saturday. They are both expected to move in the transfer window and the squad must be unsettled. The 'will he or won't he' protracted transfer sagas have been in the headlines all summer.

Wenger has left it late to strengthen his squad and he is unlikely to sign a player with their qualities any time soon. They have also lost a cracking left-back in Clichy and injuries are already taking their toll on the weakened squad.

Van Persie needs a fitness test and Wilshere and Diaby are notable absentees. Arsenal may be weakened but it is rare that they will ever be as big as 21/20 away from home unless they play a top-six side.

The team travel to St.James Park, the home of another side in disarray. Newcastle have looked to France for some value this summer with some bargain basement signings but they are short of quality.

Barton may play a part in the match after the twitter saga and Newcastle could keep him for the final year of his contract. They will need to keep him onside and he has become disillusioned with the transfer policy at the club.

He has been linked with Arsenal and he is 2/1 to join the club on a permanent deal. Newcastle are 11/4 to win at home and after their dramatic comeback against the Gunners at home last season, they must fancy their chances.

Newcastle recovered after conceding four goals and the game ended 4-4 ( 200/1). At half-time Newcastle looked like they were heading to the Championship and the Gooners looked like potential Champions.

Pardew's side have lost a lot of quality this summer with the sales of Enrique and Nolan. However, Arsenal do not like it when the opposition plays rough and they may not cope with the physical presence of the men in black and white.

For the Match Winner, we have enhanced the price of Barton to score anytime from 11/2. If he plays like he tweets, there could be a shock on Tyneside. He was highly influential last season and if the other players are on his side, they could surprise the Gunners.

With the lack of quality on display and Newcastle's strike force looking lightweight, there could be a lack of goals. Under 2.5 goals is 10/11 and it looks likely in this scrappy affair. Both sides would accept the 1-0 win and only Newcastle to score is 11/2.

Arsenal will be relying on Gervinho to start his Premier League career with a bang. He is 5/4 to score anytime and 5/1 to grab the opening goal. He has looked sharp in pre-season and he is young and quick. He will definitely be a success at the club, he will have to hope that he gets the necessary service on Saturday.
