QPR manager Neil Warnock has made a bid to sign Rangers' Croatia international striker Nikica Jelavic.
QPR have struggled for goals all season and have found the net only 18 times in 18 Premier League matches so far. Heidar Helguson has scored seven times already this term, but Jay Bothroyd has struggled and has only netted twice as has Jamie Mackie.
The paucity of goals has seen QPR drift down the table recently and they are now14/1to finish bottom and3/1to be relegated.
Jelavic, who is the Gers' leading scorer this season with 12 league goals, is being tipped to leave Ibrox in January. The 26-year-old has netted 28 times in 43 SPL games since moving toGlasgow fromRapid ViennainFebruary 2010.
West Brom have also been linked with the striker, with Gers boss Ally McCoist saying of QPR's bid: "Somebody at the club mentioned it to me, which was all I needed, to be frank. What will happen, will happen."
