Harry Redknapp says his Spurs team must believe they can challenge for the title after seeing them move to just three points behind leaders Manchester City.
Tottenham beat Everton 2-0 at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening to record their 14th win in 20 games, and they are now level on points with second-placed Manchester United. Aaron Lennon opened the scoring in the first half and Benoit Assou-Ekotto's stunning strike sealed the victory after the break.
However, this is uncharted territory for Spurs in recent years and Redknapp admits self-belief will play a big part over the coming months if his team are to finish above both the Manchester rivals.
"Who knows? Nothing's impossible," said the Spurs boss when asked whether his side could win the league.
"You have to keep believing and apart from that I enjoy the way we play.
"If you don't enjoy the way we play, then you shouldn't be watching football."
Scott Parker, who has been pivotal in Spurs' rise towards the top of the table, was missing against the Toffees due to injury but was replaced by Jake Livermore, who didn't let his manager down.
"Jake did fantastic tonight, he did superb, a kid who has come through the youth team," added Redknapp.
