Lewis Hamilton set the pace for McLaren in both practice sessions in Sepang ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Hamilton was fastest in both sessions, ahead of Sebastian Vettel in the first and Michael Schumacher in the second, with team-mate Jenson Button third just 0.002s slower than the Mercedes driver in the afternoon.
Hamilton is13/8to win the race on Sunday, with Schumacher at16/1and Button at9/4.
Red Bull appeared to be having problems keeping up with the pace, with Vettel coming in 10th in the second session and Mark Webber finishing seventh.
Hamilton seems to have put his disappointment in finishing third in Australia after starting on pole behind him, setting the fastest time of the day at 1:38.172, 0.361s clear of Schumacher. Both Mercedes drivers were in impressive form, with Schumacher and Nico Rosberg third and fourth in the morning and second and fourth in the second session.
In contrast, Ferrari disappointed in the first session, as Felipe Massa finished 13th and Fernando Alonso came in 15th. Alonso did improve in the afternoon, finishing sixth behind Toro Rosso's Daniel Ricciardo.
