Interim head coach Roberto Di Matteo believes that Chelsea still have an opportunity to end a poor season on a high note, as they seek success on two fronts.
The Blues are currently down in fifth place in the Premier League, as they prepare to take on Benfica in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
Chelsea are21/10secure a draw in Lisbon on Tuesday evening,8/15to reach the last four and10/1to go on and win the competition for the first time in their history.
Di Matteo's side have also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the Italian, who stepped up when Andre Villas-Boas was axed earlier this month, believes that a difficult campaign can finish with a trophy.
"I believe in my team, my squad, my players," a defiant Di Matteo said. "It's a very fine line between success and failure.
"This team has all the ability to play a very good game and show the qualities these players have.
"There is no point in denying it's been a difficult season, but we have quality in this team and many good players. I still think this Chelsea team is a very good team."
Di Matteo has the luxury of a fully-fit squad to choose from, with defender Branislav Ivanovic having recovered from a thigh strain which kept him out of the goalless draw with Spurs at the weekend.
The game at the Estadio da Luz will, surprisingly, be the first meeting between the two sides in a competitive fixture.
