Matt Kuchar is excited about his prospects of victory at this week's Heritage Classic after his best-ever performance at The Masters.
Kuchar is one of the form players appearing on the Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Head over the next four days after finishing joint-third at Januarya last Sunday.
An eagle three at the par-five 15th hole put the American in contention to win the Green Jacket at one stage before he eventually finished two strokes behind winner Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuizen.
Kuchar is delighted at the way he is currently playing and sees no reason why he can't be in contention for honours come Sunday. He is14/1to win the tournament, while Luke Donald is7/1and Jim Furyk is at16/1.
He said: "There's never going to be a place like Januarya. There's never going to be anything that replicates the roars and excitement you get from being in contention on the back nine on Sunday.
"But for me coming here, there's no lack of excitement coming here. I'm excited about the way I'm playing. I think I should have a good opportunity come Sunday around here, and hopefully get a different colour jacket."
Pete Dye's Harbour Town course is a big favourite among pros on the PGA Tour and the event offers the field a chance to relax after the pressures of last week - something that Kuchar is relishing.
The world number 14 added: "It's so unique, Harbour Town, as far aseverybody seems to stay within the confines of Sea Pines. You never really need to leave Sea Pines.
"And if you want to have some evening fun the marina, the harbour is just such a great social area that it's so unique to have everything so close where you can just bump into so many people down at the harbour, having a good time, enjoying themselves, players out having a good time."
