Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez urged his side not to think that it was job done after a superb 2-1 win at Arsenal moved them five points clear of the dropzone.
The Latics stormed into a two-goal lead within eight minutes at the Emirates Stadium and held on to register a fourth win in five games, a run which has seen them move clear of the foot of the Premier League table in some style.
Wigan are now6/1to be relegated, with Blackburn Rovers1/6and Bolton Wanderers6/5.
However, Martinez is wary of hisplayers getting carried away by their successes over Liverpool, Manchester United and now the Gunners, saying: "We can't really enjoy it because moments like this will mean nothing if we don't get enough points to stay up."
"I always said we would click as a team at the beginning of February and we had been playing really well, but could not win games, which left us a bit frustrated with draws.
"But we have been patient and been able to be stubborn with what we wanted to do and get the results."
Next up for Wigan is a trip to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Saturday, with the Latics7/2to register another victory to maintain their momentum.
