Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini feels Carlos Tevez is "destined" to score the winning goal against his former side Manchester United on Monday.
Monday's Manchester derby has been billed as one of the biggest ever meetings between the two sides and this season's title decider.
A win for City would see them leapfrog their neighbours on goal difference with just two remaining games, while if United avoid defeat they will take a massive step towards retaining their Premier League crown.
Earlier this season it appeared as if Tevez's time with City was coming to an end following a bust-up with Mancinithat seemed irreparable.
However, the Argentina international has returned to the Etihad Stadium for the final run-in and has been in fine form since, with four goals in his last three games.
Mancini feels Tevez is destined to score the winner against United on Monday and the City boss believes if his side can take all three points, it will rank amongst the biggest results in the club's history.
"I think Carlos is destined to score the most important goal in the history of this club," said the City boss. "This is my belief.
"And if we beat United to the title, it would be the biggest achievement of my career because it is England, it is the best championship in Europe."
