Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has called on his side to see off Chelsea on Tuesday and end the season on a high.
The two sides meet for a Premier League fixture after Chelsea grabbed a 2-1 win over the Reds in the FA Cup final on Saturday and Dalglish is desperate to give the Anfield faithful something to cheer about as the season draws to a close.
The Liverpool boss admits results at home have been poor this season, with the Reds managing just five wins at Anfield to date, and Dalglish is eager for his side to finish on a high.
He told the club's official website: "Everyone knows the home results haven't been great this season despite some excellent performances along the way.
"It would be a little bit of solace for the punters who have given us tremendous support throughout the season if we could get a win. We want them to go home with a certain amount of satisfaction and we can do that by getting the three points.
"It would be fantastic for everyone to get a positive result ? for both the players and the supporters."
The hosts will be without Charlie Adam and Lucas, while Chelsea pair John Obi Mikel and Raul Meireles have both been ruled out. The Blues also seem set to be without defensive pair Gary Cahill and David Luiz, who are both nursing hamstring injuries.
