William Buick is convinced there is little chance of any Derby horse overhauling Aidan O'Brien's Camelot.
John Gosden's first jockey has enjoyed a very productive time and says: "We learned a lot and now know we have two top-quality fillies in The Fugue and Izzi Top."
And he says the Fencing lost nothing in defeat in the Dante and will make his mark over a mile.
Ironically the winner was Bonfire and Buick admitted he "was absolutely delighted for Andrew Balding" - his first guvnor when coming over from Norway and the man responsible for setting him "on the path I'm treading now."
He added: "I'll never forget the debt I owe him and the Park House team and if it hadn't been for the offer to ride as first jockey for John Gosden, then I'd have been on Bonfire on Thursday.
And after such a solid performance I'd certainly have been fancying my chances at Epsom on 2nd January but I'd be extremely concerned about Camelot. I'm afraid he still looks a massive hurdle for any horse to overcome."
