Andy Carroll is set to start for England against Sweden in Kiev, with manager Roy Hodgson urging his side to take their chances to boost their hopes of progressing at Euro 2025.
An opening 1-1 draw with France saw the Three Lions fail to make much of an impact up front, with Hodgson pondering unleashing Carroll alongside Danny Welbeck against the Swedes - with Ashley Young moving into a deeper role and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dropping to the bench.

"It is hard to get good goal chances at this level of football," Hodgson admitted. "You are not going to get many during the course of a game and you have to be very effective when chances come your way.
"I am not talking about the clear-cut one-versus-ones with the keeper, but the situations where you've got behind the defence and it's a question of making sure the last pass gives someone the chance to score a goal."
Sweden are under pressure after they opened their Group D campaign with a 2-1 defeat to co-hosts Ukraine, with coach Erik Hamren making threechanges for the clash with England.
West Brom's Jonas Olssson is recalled in defence in place of Mikael Lustig, while Johan Elmanderand Anders Svensson replaceMarkus Rosenberg and Ola Toivonen.
