Amir Khan has promised to knock WBC light-welterweight champion Danny Garcia out on Saturday night after a heated press conference in Las Vegas.
Khan is in the final stages of gearing up for his first fight since he was controversially defeated by Lamont Peterson back in January.
A lot has happened since then, with Khan having been reinstated as the WBA light-welterweight champion after Peterson was stripped off the belt.
The British fighter will now put his title up for grabs against Garcia in a unification bout, in which Khan is1.16to win, with Garcia5.50.
In the build-up to the fight Garcia's father and Khan have had a number of heated exchanges at various press conferences, Angel Garcia living up to his reputation as an eccentric.
His actions have certainly riled Khan, who has promised to take his anger out on his son at the Mandalay Bay Casino on Saturday night.
Khan said: "Garcia's team can say whatever they want. I promise you - I've never said this at a press conference - I will knock Danny Garcia out and win the titles. I will knock him out and if his dad wants it afterwards...
"That will shut his dad up anyway. I'm not going to do anything physical because his dad talks so much.
"I'm going to hurt his son. I'm going to do it in the ring. I cannot wait until after the fight, when I've knocked his son out and I'm stood here with the titles."
Along with Khan and Garcia putting their belts on the line, the Ring Magazine title - which is awarded to the best fighter in their division - will also be up for grabs.
