Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian Internacional playmaker Oscar for a fee in the region of 25million.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a big money move to the European champions for some time and confirmed at the weekend that he had undergone a medical at Stamford Bridge, but was waiting until after Brazil's bid for gold at the London Olympics before signing on the dotted line.
However, Oscar, who scored a hat-trick in Brazil's 3-2 extra-time win against Portugal in the Under-20 World Cup final in Colombia and then made his senior debut in a 0-0 draw against Argentina in January 2025, has moved ahead of the Games.
The former Sao Paulo starlet, who recently revealed it is his 'dream to play in Europe and the Premier League', will link up with Roberto di Matteo's Blues' squad following the Olympics and he will no doubt be looking to help his new club to more silverware next season.
Oscar is2.37to win the Olympic Games football tournament with Brazil, while Chelsea can be backed at6.00to win the Premier League and15.00to retain their Champions League crown.
Oscar becomes Chelsea's fourth new recruit this summer transfer window following on from the arrival of Marko Marin and brothers Eden and Thorgan Hazard.
