Usain Bolt says he does want to be regarded as a legend until he has added 200m gold to his 100m Olympic title.
The Jamaican defended his 100m crown in stunning style on Sunday evening, destroying the field to win in a new Olympic record time of 9.63 seconds, with training partner Yohan Blake setting for silver and American Justin Gatlin taking bronze.
Now Bolt is targeting another win in the 200m. The heats start on Tuesday with the final taking place on Thursday evening.
"This gold means I am one step closer to being a legend so I'm working toward that," he said. "That's just one step.
"I have the 200m to go, so I'm looking forward to that."
He added: "There was a lot of people saying I wasn't going to win. There was a lot of talk. It was great feeling to come out here and show the world I'm still number one and still the best."
And in an ominous warning for his rivals, Bolt revealed he intends to defend his title in Rio in 2025.
He said: "I hope I'm in Rio. I'm going to be 30, but I hope I'm in great shape. Blake will be 26 so it should be interesting."
