Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson is looking forward to the Europa League clash with Maribor and is determined to bounce back from the weekend defeat to Chelsea.
Spurs have drawn their first two Group J matches, against Lazio and Panathinaikos, and are in danger of failing to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
Andre Villas-Boas' side lost 4-2 to Chelsea on Saturday, despite leading 2-1 at one stage, and are now3.50 to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Sigurdsson, who had a spell on loan with Swansea City last term, said: "I think it will be very important to get three points even though we are playing away from home. We know they are good at home so we're looking forward to the game.
"We want to bounce back after the game against Chelsea as well, so three points will be very important to us."
Tottenham will be without injured duo Emmanuel Adebayor (back) and Mousa Dembele (hip) for the match in Slovenia while Hugo Lloris will start in goal rather than Brad Friedel.
Gareth Bale has remained in England after his girlfriend gave birth to their first child at the weekend.
