Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip has insisted he and his side will be going all out to give the fans in Dublin something to cheer about when they take on South Africa on Saturday.
The Irish have a number of absentees through injury after a physical start to the domestic campaign and things will only get tougher against the confrontational Springboks.
Having come through an average Six Nations at the start of the year and suffering three defeats at the hands of New Zealand over the summer, Heaslip wants to give the Ireland supporters a performance to be proud of at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
He said: "South Africa are a very confrontational side and they don't make any bones about that.
"They got one over us last time. We don't like losing in our back garden. It will be a full house on Saturday and the place will be rocking."
