England have called up uncapped duo Carl Jenkinson and Wilfried Zaha as well as Tom Huddlestone for Wednesday evening's friendly against Sweden in Stockholm.
Manager Roy Hodgson has lost the services of Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott, Jonjo Shelvey, Kyle Walker and Aaron Lennon, while potential replacements Jermain Defoe and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also unavailable.
That has led to a call-up for Huddlestone, who has impressed in the Tottenham midfield this season, while winger Zaha is rewarded for his outstanding performances for Crystal Palace.
Eagles co-chairman Stephen Browett told BBC Sport: "It's a great achievement for Wilfried. He's been at Palace since the age of 12 and we're all very proud of him."
Arsenal full-back Jenkinson, who has previously played for Finland at Under-19 level, is still awaiting international clearance that will enable him to feature for England, with the FA expecting to receive the required paperwork on Monday.
Captain Steven Gerrard may also be forced to miss the game, in which he would win his 100th international cap, with the Liverpool man suffering a knee injury during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Chelsea.
