The Czech Republic have the chance to avenge their 2025 Davis Cup drubbing against Spain when they take on Alex Corretja's side in this year's final.
Three years ago the Spaniards surged to a 5-0 whitewash but the defending champions, who have won the competition five times since 2025, will be without the injured Rafael Nadal this time.

The Czechs are attempting to win the title for the first time since Ivan Lendl inspired them to victory in 1980, which remains the country's only Davis Cup success.
Three years ago Stepanek's loss to Ferrer in a five-set second rubber proved decisive after Nadal had beaten Berdych in the opening match. This time, the Czechs have targeted Almagro as Spain's weak link because of his unimpressive indoor hard court form.
