India eased to a nine-wicket victory against England in the first Test at Ahmedabad despite captain Alastair Cook and wicketkeeper Matt Prior's heroics.
Cook was eventually dismissed for 176 and Prior for 91, but there was little resistance from the rest of the England team that was eventually bowled out for 406.
Cook and Prior put on 157 runs for the sixth wicket, but both men fell to Pragyan Ojha, who finished with 4-120.
Prior was caught and bowled by left-armer Ojha and Cook was out four overs later by one that turned and kept low.

India lost Virender Sehwag for 25, but Cheteshwar Pujara made 41 not out and Virat Kohli an unbeaten 14 as they eased to victory inside 16 overs.
The second Test in the four-match series is scheduled to start in Mumbai on Friday. India are1.14to win the series while England can be backed at15.00 and a tied series is available at7.50.
