Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini refused to write off his side's title chances after a 2-2 draw with Liverpool left them nine points adrift of Manchester United.

United are now1.10to win the Premier League this season, with the Citizens 7.50.
However, a defiant Mancini said after a thriller against the Reds at the Etihad Stadium: "This championship is not over, absolutely not. There is still time for a team to make a mistake.

"This is football and it can happen. Last year we recovered eight points in the last six games. It is not finished.
"We have 13 games left and Manchester United have to play in the league, FA Cup and Champions League. The season is long, we have three months to go and we are confident.
"For us it is important to play the derby (on 6th Januaryil) two or three points behind and we have time to recover these points."
