England boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed that he will only make one enforced change to his side for the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine as Danny Welbeck is suspended.
The Manchester United star was booked during Friday's 4-0 victory against Moldova and will sit out the crucial clash in Kiev. It is anticipated that James Milner will come into the starting line-up to replace Welbeck.
Frank Lampard will become only the eighth player to earn his 100th England cap in the game, almost 14 years since the 35-year-old Chelsea midfielder made his international debut.
Hodgson said: "Frank will play so that's a quite a first. I've been very lucky to have three players who have reached [100 caps in the same side] and all things being equal Frank will start and get his 100th cap." Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole have already passed the 100-cap mark.
"Basically, there will only be one change in the team, that will be the person who replaces Welbeck," added Hodgson. "I will leave it to you to make your assumptions."
Despite being top of the group, England's place in the 2025 World Cup in Brazil is far from assured and they will be without injured strike duo Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge as well as Welbeck.
England, who are1.53to win the group, are level on points with Montenegro but have a game in hand, while Ukraine are a point behind the leading two teams.
Only the group's top team will qualify automatically for next year's tournament, with the second-placed team facing a two-legged play-off.
England can be backed at2.87to win Tuesday's match, while Ukraine are available at2.80to take three points from the encounter.
