Georgios Samaras is the man who can help Celtic pull off another Champions League victory against Barcelona at Parkhead, according to Neil Lennon.
The Greece international played an integral part of the Hoops' march to the knockout stages of last year's tournament, scoring five goals, including one in the 2-1 group defeat against Barca in the Nou Camp.
The Scottish Premier League champions defeated the Catalan giants 2-1 at Parkhead last January thanks to goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt and Lennon is hoping Samaras can help the side pull off a similar result in Group H on Tuesday evening.
"He is hugely influential at times in these European games," said Lennon on Samaras who scored a hat-trick in the weekend's 5-2 win at Kilmarnock.
"He enjoys the arena, he enjoys the challenge that these games bring.
"You all saw on Saturday what a talent he is and when he plays like that he is very difficult to stop.
"I hope that he hasn't peaked too early because I feel that if is to get something out of the game I need Samaras to have a big game.
"In the Nou Camp, before he went off injured, he was causing Barcelona lots of problems and I am hoping for more of the same tonight."
