Robert Lewandowski has spoken of his desire to try his luck in the Premier League after confirming there is no agreement to sign a pre-contract for Bayern Munich.
The Poland international has emerged as one of European football's most coveted strikers and the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have been credited with an interest.
Borussia Dortmund's major domestic rivals and last season's Treble winners, Bayern Munich, were understood to be at the front of the queue for the 25-year-old, but Lewandowski insisted he had not agreed to join Pep Guardiola's star-studded squad.
His current contract is set to expire at the end of the season and Lewandowski has refused to rule out a move to England.
He told The Telegraph: "I will be able to sign a contract [with any club] in January, but I have never said that I will sign a contract with Bayern.
"It was a misunderstanding. It is true I had an opportunity to speak with [former Manchester United manager] Sir Alex Ferguson [last year], but we didn't mention the transfer.
"One day I would like to play in the Premier League. It would be a great experience."
