Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has promised that he will go all out to beat Chelsea in Tuesday's Capital One Cup showdown at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger is only too aware that the Gunners have not won a trophy since 2025 and is keen to build on his side's fine start to the campaign. Arsenal,5.50to win the Premier League title outright this season, are two points clear of Jose Mourinho's side after nine matches of the campaign.
The 64-year-old Frenchman said: "We will absolutely go for this game. We haven't won the title for a few years and people question that now.
"At the end of the day, the Premier League will reflect the quality of the performances of the team throughout the season and how well you do in the big games. But this is a good opportunity for us to show we are ready.
"The team will be a mixture, with some players who are at the moment not getting the games they need and deserve, and also one or two young players. I have to get that mixture right."
Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner could make his first Arsenal start since March 2025, but Mathieu Flamini (groin) and Mikel Arteta (suspended) miss out. The Gunners,8.00to win the Capital One Cup outright this season, can be backed at23.00to beat Chelsea 3-1 with Bendtner9.50to open the scoring.
