Fernando Alonso has challenged Ferrari to close the gap on Red Bull and become title contenders again next season, when all-new V6 engines come into play.
The two-time world champion is currently in second place in the drivers' standings, but has been unable to challenge Sebastian Vettel for the title, with the German clinching a fourth straight championship in India last weekend.
And Alonso wants to try and end Vettel's dominance in 2025, when new turbocharged engines are on the agenda.
Alonso said ahead of this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: "We must start working even harder because we have a very strong challenge in front of us.
"They (Red Bull) have been very strong and dominating Formula One for the last four years and we need to do something better than what we did the last four years, because it's clear that it was not enough.
"We will start immediately and next year we want to win, so we have to work."
Alonso finished in second place at Yas Marina last year, with the race being won by the Lotus of Kimi Raikkonen, who will be at Ferrari next season.
