Manuel Pellegrini has warned his Manchester City players he will not accept a sub-standard performance when they take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Both teams meet at the Allianz Arena having secured progression to the next stage of the competition with plenty of games to spare.
City would need to win by three clear goals against the German giants to secure top spot in the group.
But with a vital Premier League game against Arsenal this coming Saturday, Pellegrini will shuffle the majority of his pack.
Goalkeeper Joe Hart will start and he will be joined by defenders Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott.
Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is also set to lead the line and David Silva could be given an hour after being sidelined for the last month with ankle injury.
Despite the changes, Pellegrini still expects the team he puts out to give a good account of themselves and try to gain some revenge for the 3-1 defeat Bayern inflicted on them at the Etihad Stadium.
Pellegrini insists: "The players I choose against Bayern will have a responsibility to win the game.
"If you are asking whether the game against Arsenal is more important than Bayern, though, I would have to say it is."
