Jesus Navas has warned Manchester City's Premier League rivals that they are ready to go on another long unbeaten run.
The Spain winger insists Manuel Pellegrini's team can bounce back immediately from Monday's 1-0 home loss to title rivals Chelsea.
That defeat brought an end to City's 100 per cent home record and a 20-game unbeaten sequence which consisted of 18 wins and two draws.
The Citizens travel to strugglers Norwich City this weekend and can go back to the top of the table if they win and leaders Arsenal fail to do likewise at Liverpool. City can be backed at8.50to beat the Canaries 2-0 and at5.00to score a penalty at Carrow Road.
And Navas believes there is no cause for panic despite the reverse to Jose Mourinho's side, which left City at2.00to win the Premier League title outright this season and Chelsea at3.00.
Navas insists: "We were on a really good dynamic run and we were expecting to win against Chelsea, and it didn't happen.
"But we will keep looking forward and to winning more matches again. The team has the potential to go on another run like we have.
"We want to be in first spot so we will keep working to get there."
