Steven Gerrard thinks Liverpool can benefit from their rivals' Champions League encounters in the next few weeks and continue their push for an unexpected Premier League title.
The Reds twice came from behind to beat Fulham 3-2 at Craven Cottage on Wednesday, Gerrard grabbing the last-gasp winner from the penalty spot, and are now only four points behind current leaders Chelsea, who were held to a 1-1 draw by West Brom on Tuesday.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are all set to return to Champions League action after a two-month break while Liverpool can focus on clinching a first top-flight title since 1990.
City face Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League while Arsenal face Bayern Munich and Chelsea take on Galatasaray.
"We need to keep pushing," said Gerrard. "If we're still in the mix when the Champions League restarts then who knows what might happen?
"They have all got big Champions League games while we've only got to think about one game a week."
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers said: "I think it's still the other teams' to lose. They've more points than us. We'll just go into each game trying to improve on every facet of our game.
"The players are doing magnificently at the moment and we're certainly showing great signs of improvement. We're trying to be the best we can be. There's no limits to our ambition of trying to be the best."
