Manchester United manager David Moyes has told his players that the real Champions League challenge startswhen they take onOlympiacos in Greece.
The Scotsman is taking nothing away from the impressive manner in which his team managed to secure qualification for the knockout stages of the competition.
But Moyes, even with his limited experience around the top echelons of European football, knows how key the concentration levels will now have to be against the Greeks in their last-16 meeting.
Moyes will look to his first-choice strike pairing of Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, to try and give the Red Devils something to take back to Old Trafford for the return leg.
And he is likely to turn to experienced heads in midfield with Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Ryan Giggs all in contention.
Moyes admits: "To get through the group was first and foremost, really important. To win the group added that extra edge.
"But now you are in the knockout stages, the real cup competition (begins). It will be a difficult tie. We're thinking about trying to win the game against Olympiacos."
