England captain Stuart Broad is keen to return to winning ways when his side takes on West Indies in a 50-over encounter at Antigua's Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Twenty20 captain Broad has only led England in one 50-over match before - the warm-up win against a University of the West Indies Vice-Chancellor's XI on Tuesday - but is looking forward to Friday's encounter.
On the recent tour of Australia, England lost 12 of the 13 matches they played against the Baggy Greens and Broad is keen to put an end to that miserable run as soon as possible.
"It has been hard work, but we knew it was going to be physically hard work and were expecting it. Hard work brings you closer," said Broad. "Doing fitness sessions together, you drive each other on - so team bonds grow.
"Tuesday's game was my first 50-over match as captain, so it was good to get one in before the internationals."
England are keen to field the same team which won Tuesday's game although Eoin Morgan is a doubt after he missed Thursday's nets sessions after hurting his left knee fielding against the Vice-Chancellor's XI.
"I think our 'death' bowling is somewhere where we need our skills to improve," added Broad. "That comes with yorkers and our 'change-ups' - and that will also help us in Bangladesh. The pitches there can be good to bat on, so getting up in the block hole is important."
