Stevan Jovetic has told Manchester City he can be their man for the big occasion as the title race reaches boiling point.
The Montenegro striker has played just 12 times since his 24million switch from Fiorentina last summer, having been plagued by a series of niggling injuries.
But Jovetic will return from a thigh injury when Manuel Pellegrini's side host strugglers Fulham,1.28to be relegated, on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
Skipper Vincent Kompany, though, will miss the clash with the Cottagers following his red card in the 2-0 victory over Hull City at the weekend, which closed the gap on leaders Chelsea to six points.
City also have three games in hand on Jose Mourinho's side and Jovetic feels his big-game mentality can play a deciding factor in the destination of the title.
The 24-year-old insists: "I aim to score the goals that get us the points to win the title. I aim to prove a lot. I showed in many big games for Fiorentina I can score.
"There are two crucial months ahead and I think Chelsea will drop points. I believe we can win the title this year. We need to just be calm and go step by step."
