Arsene Wenger has hinted that Mathieu Flamini could return to the Arsenal side for Saturday's north London derby clash against Tottenham.
The 30-year-old midfielder has not featured in the Gunners side since the 2-2 draw with Manchester City a fortnight ago but is set to come into the team for the eagerly-anticipated encounteragainst Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Wenger revealed: "The only difference compared to Villa and Southampton is that Mathieu Flamini might be available again. He had a dead leg. I feel he should be back.
"Everyone else is similar to where they were. Monreal is not back yet. The likes of Giroud, Debuchy and Walcott are unavailable."
Meanwhile, Wenger is expecting a very tough game on Saturday evening, adding: "North London derbies are always very intense and the players from both sides know each other so well.
"I only have my eye on the next game because it's a massive one but it's true we have an important week."
Arsenal face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday before coming up against Chelsea in the Premier League.
Spurs have only beaten Arsenal twice in the Premier League era and have taken just one point from their last three league games.
They did beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday while the Gunners are also in poor form having only won once in their last five fixtures.
