Ryder Cup hero Jamie Donaldson is relishing getting back into the swing at the BMW Masters in China, as he aims higher in the Race To Dubai standings.
The Welshman goes into the tournament in fourth place in the Dubai rankings, with the three men above him - Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Henrik Stenson - all absent this week.
And Donaldson, who is not too far behind both Stenson and Garcia, is looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality after his matchwinning efforts at Gleneagles.
He told the European Tour website: "The Ryder Cup was an incredible experience and definitely stayed in my system for a couple of weeks afterwards, but now I can't wait to get back to regular stroke play on the European Tour and I'll be trying to finish what has been a great season on a high.
"We've got four massive events coming up with lots at stake. I've been working very hard at home to ensure I can put in some good performances over the next few weeks."
Donaldson, who won the Czech Masters in January, is20/1to win the BMW Masters, with Ryder Cup colleagues Justin Rose and Victor Dubuisson9/1and16/1respectively.
Following the BMW Masters in Shanghai, the European Tour draws to a close with the WGC-HSBC Champions, also in Shanghai, the Turkish Airlines Open and the DP World Tour Championship.
World number one McIlroy currently leads the Race To Dubai standings by more than 3million euros and is all but certain to be crowned top European golfer this season.
