Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is confident that he will emerge from his current injury problems stronger than ever.
The 25-year-old, who is not expected to return to action until after the hectic festive programme, has not played since January because of thigh and calf injuries.
He suffered his latest setback last week when he sustained a new thigh problem.
"Through all this I'm growing as a man and an athlete," the former Chelsea and Manchester City striker tweeted.
"Another door to break down. I'll be back soon enough - strong and ready."
Sturridge scored 25 goals last season but he has only three featured in three games for the Reds this season after picking up his initial injury while on England duty.
"Everybody goes through things in life that can make or break them," he added. "This for me is another hurdle to jump over."
Liverpool have struggled this term without Sturridge and Luis Suarez, who was sold to Barcelona in the summer.
They are 12th in the Premier League after losing at Crystal Palace on Sunday and will be knocked out of the Champions League if they are beaten by Ludogrets Razgrad on Wednesday.
