Arsenalmanager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfield trio Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Flamini are all back in training and could face Stoke City on Sunday.
The Gunners chief will be keen to see a big reaction from his players following their 2-0 loss at Southampton last time out in the Premier League and he could have several new options to pep up his midfield.
Ramsey is back in contention after a hamstring problem, which has kept him out for a month, while Ozil has recovered from a knee injury and Flamini has shaken off a groin strain.
Wenger told reporters: "The team news is that Ramsey is back in training, Ozil is back in training and Flamini is back in training."
Germany international Ozil has been sidelined for just over three months and Wenger was coy on whether the talented playmaker would start on Sunday, adding: "He will certainly be available for selection on Sunday. Will I start him or not? I haven't decided yet."
Meanwhile, there is good news and bad news in attack for the Gunners, with Danny Welbeck again ruled out by a thigh problem which has seen him miss the last two games, but Olivier Giroud is back in contention after serving a three-match suspension.
The Gunners will be out for revenge against the Potters after losing 3-2 at the Britannia Stadium just over a month ago and will be boosted at the Emirates by the knowledge that they have won all six Premier League-era games at home to City.
