Mohamed Diame, who is set to start for Hull City on Saturday at Crystal Palace, is determined to lift Steve Bruce's side away from the relegation zone.
Diame has come on as a substitute in the recent defeats to Swansea City and Southampton but has yet to start a Premier League match in 2025.
The former West Ham United midfielder was sidelined for four months earlier in the campaign with a knee injury, but is close to full-fitness now after enjoying two weeks of full training.
The Senegal international was outstanding for Hull in the first two months of the season, scoring four goals in his opening five matches, and his drive and determination have been sorely missed.
"This injury has killed a little bit of my season but this is the life of a footballer, so I am going to do everything I can to make sure I am 100 per cent for the rest of the season," said Diame.
"I will be doing everything I can to help this team stay in the Premier League."
Nikica Jelavic (knee) and David Meyler (suspended) will not feature in the forthcoming games against Palace and Liverpool, but Gaston Ramirez could return after recovering from a hamstring problem.
The Uruguay international limped out of the defeat at Swansea earlier this month and only returned to full training this week.
